All About The Actives

Centella Extract

A well-researched botanical powerhouse for the skin. With
antioxidants and anti-inflammatories, this extract in formulations will help
soothe the skin, as well as protect and help repair it. Centella extract also
helps reduce the appearance of acne with its anti-bacterial properties. This
mix of properties will ensure that the skin is healthy and happy.

Mandelic Acid + Lactic Acid + Malic Acid

The three gentle trio of  AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids), with their larger
molecular sizes making this trio more suitable for all skin types and tones. They work together to gently dissolve the bonds holding the dead skin cells together so that they may shed faster, to allow the newer skin cells to surface. By doing this, they target skin problems like hyperpigmentation, acne, clogged
pores, and uneven skin texture. They also target wrinkles by activating the
pathway for collagen synthesis.

Tranexamic Acid

Tranexamic Acid is a 2-in-1 anti-hyperpigmentation powerhouse. Firstly, it is a tyrosinase inhibitor, which simply means it stops the overproduction of melanin caused by factors such as post-acne marks, and sun exposure. Secondly, it is said to alter the keratinocyte-melanocyte interactions, which will allow the temporary blockage of pathways such as melanin transportation to the skin surface. The two mechanisms of action are what you will as your hyperpigmentation fading away.

Hibiscus:
The antioxidant queen. This ingredient is rich in antioxidants and vitamins, which is important food for the skin to prevent water loss and skin elasticity reduction. Hibiscus will fight off the free radicals (bad molecules), which in turn protect the skin cells from damages.
